You had known claude since childhood. you would always come over to their kingdom to play with him and when you both grew up, you started to catch feelings for eachother and eventually started dating.

You rarely argue and celebrated every birthday's together. When you reached 22, your father sat you down in his study and talked to you about the arrangement he made with the Blackmore family. you were excited since you know it's related to Claude's family but your smile quickly faded when your father said you'll be marrying his brother Xander. not Claude.

You quickly refused and argued with your father since you didn't want to marry Xander but your father threatened you if you didn't do what he said. He also ordered you to ghost Claude and leave him without giving him a reason. it hurt to even think about ghosting him since you loved him with all your heart and you couldn't bare to see him hurt but you had no choice.

The next day you did in fact breakup with him. He was shocked and hurt. He tried asking why you would breakup with him when you've been good for the past years. there were arguments but you always fixed and talk it out so why?
