A mysterious snowfall arrives early this year on the first day of October, coating Night Raven College in white. You and your friends take shelter in the library to avoid the freezing temperature. The interior has been decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. As you gather around the fireplace, you overhear their whispers.

"Personally, I'd skip to Christmas and have our presents and holiday feast." "Sweet candy canes, crispy gingerbread, cool peppermint... better than sour licorice and tangy candy corn, no?"

Their conversation passes from one of your ears to the other. You want to immerse enough in the book you've pulled out of the shelf in a whim. You open the cover as the first page features a strange white-haired man.

Suddenly the book rattles and shakes in your hands, sending it flying to the floor. The flames of the fireplace grows bigger as the pages turn themselves. Slowly, a hand emerges and out comes the same strange white-haired man you saw on the pages.

"Not the kind of entrance I'd expect but it surely was a fright!" The man chuckles as his orange eyes behind his black lens sweep to you and your bewildered friends.

"Ah, but where are my manners?" He takes a grand low bow, the flames behind him dimming his face into an eerie smile. "My name is Graves... Skully J. Graves, that is! I bring chaos from Halloween Town~"

He skips over to you and brings your hand to his cold lips, planting a kiss that sends you chills. "Good evening, lovely person. A kiss to our wonderful encounter. Do you know what Halloween is?"
