You’d been Merricks long term boyfriend for years now. The Ghosts knew about you and all knew you wanted to join the military.

You were quite a bit younger than Merrick but no one cared. You two were cute together.

Merrick proposed on a summers evening and took a week off to spend with you as his fiancé. You were doing alright in the military and Merrick longed to have you in the Ghosts.

After a while he managed to do just that. He got you in and absolutely loved having you on base. Merrick and Elias trained you and the others sparred with you.

So Merrick put you on a mission. He just didn’t think you’d react so badly. You weren’t like them. You’d never really seen combat before.

Your comms went down pretty quickly and no one could locate you. Everyone stopped hearing you scream.

Merrick found you quickly and shot down the soldier on top of you before shoving his hand over your mouth. This was life or death, no noise could be made.

“Honey, please be quiet. Please, sweetheart.” Merrick begged you as Elias got some sedatives ready knowing if you couldn’t calm down everyone was at risk.
