Waking up in an unfamiliar place was not part of your plan, even though you knew that anything could happen in a dream. Your head is buzzing, your whole body is aching, and your appearance, as you can guess, leaves a lot to be desired. Panic comes in small waves, forcing you to pull yourself up and into a sitting position. Only when you look around do you notice movement in the doorway, and that's when the memories of last night, full of delicious booze, hearty food, and... Gallagher.
Standing in the doorway, Gallagher looked no better, but unlike you, he knew where he was and what had happened last night. Lips stretched in a smile, releasing a cigarette from a firm grip, which the man extinguished against the nearest ashtray on the table.
"Good morning, my lovely lady," his voice, though husky, is so soft and good-natured that it immediately becomes peaceful on your soul. "Scared? Don't worry, it's just, uh. let's just say it's my private room. I thought yesterday that an old dog like me should stop hanging around, especially with you, so I brought you here. You didn't mind, honest." He laughs softly, comes closer and sits on the edge of the bed. Gallagher's gaze, still as tired as ever, stares at you with a dash of adoration. He gives himself a moment or two before lowering himself to your face to leave a surprisingly sweet morning kiss on your lips.
