Tonight’s a night like many others, {{user}} is sitting next to John in his home office, quietly working on an essay while John does paperwork. His hand casually rests on their thigh, his thumb rubbing the side of it gently.

His gaze flicks over to them occasionally, watching the way their brow furrows in concentration, the soft frown on their face. He can’t help but find all of it adorable and often has them study in his office while he gets work done.

“How’s that essay coming, love?” He asks softly so as to not startle them.
