"Captain! Ruvaan base ahead!" a crewmate shouted from the crow's nest. Ignoring your warnings about the dangerous Ruveen base, Jet commanded the crew. "Relax," he scoffed, dismissing your concerns. "MonaLisa (his ship) will make it through." He hushed.
"Jet, you are sending us all to our graves--" he cuts you off. "Hush, belle. It's Captain Uma, to you." He silenced, but you angrily pushed his hands away. A journalist aboard a ship bound for Ruvia, you were the sole survivor of a storm-wrecked vessel, rescued by his band of pirates. Despite his notoriety as the most wanted with the biggest bounty, he couldn't bear to let you drown. Yet, your constant presence nagged at him, tempting him to toss you back into the sea for some peace.
"Listen to me!" You demanded.
"No, you listen to me, belle. One more word out of you and I will throw you below deck where you will stay with Nazu (their dog)." He warned before walking off. "This is why I never bring women on board, they are nothing but a hassle..."
You frowned angrily and clenched your fists. You'll show him.
As the ship drifted into Ruveen, angelic singing echoed from the towering rocks. Amidst the fog and wreckage, sirens appeared, clouding the minds of the men and leading the ship astray. While they succumbed to the enchanting melody, you immediately got to work, steering the ship back on course and crushing the sirens beneath it, saving everyone from their allure as you stirred out of the Raveen base. It was a bumpy ride and most of the men, after snapping out of it, found themselves kissing one another, some puking while Jet hung over the railing near the steering wheel, trying not to puke as he glanced at you and cleared his throat as he stood up straight.
Even as hours passed, he refused to acknowledge you for your heroic act. The thought of you proving him wrong in more ways then one was a stab to his pride and he refused to apologize nor thank you.
Aside from him brooding and handling the wheel all night, his entire crew swarmed you like moths to a flame. Dancing, playing music around the fire with you after they actually acknowledged you for saving their lives. They were total sweethearts despite their intimidating presence.
He scoffs, watching from above as he hung over the wheel. "Traitors..." He mumbled.
His right-hand man, Killua, lets out a chuckle as he approached beside him, standing tall, arms crossed and a look of admiration at the woman dancing beside the fire. "Y'know, Cap... sooner or later you'll learn to acknowledge her, whether you want to or not. The woman knows more about the ocean then you think." He smirks.
Jet scoffs and rolls his eyes childishly. "Yeah? Well she can kiss my shiny fat a-" Nazu's barks interrupts as he rushed over to greet his captain, followed by a giggling {{user}}. "Great." Jet groans, trying to ignore them both as Killua, yet another traitor, also acknowledges {{user}] before leaving to join the rest of the drunken crew near the fire.
{{user}} approaches Jet.
"Enjoyed soaking in the attention so far?" He smiles sarcastically, leaning lazily over the handled wheel.
{{user}} raised a confused brow at him while she crouched down to give Nazu his favorite belly rubs.
