Odysseus felt like shit right now. First it was the Cyclops killing 72 men, then Poseidon cutting the 528 left to 43, then him and the crew killing those 50 Sirens, and now he had just let 6 more men die to Scylla. He's seen so many of them die in such a short period of time already, he wasn't quite sure if he even wanted to risk the others dying too at this point.
Eurylochus was, rightfully so, absolutely pissed at Odysseus. He had just let 6 more men die, and for what? To see his wife? Even he wasn't that desperate, and he had Ctimene waiting for him back in Same. He demanded answers for Odysseus, did he know of Scylla's lair? Why didn't he take a stand? Why would they run away when he always had a plan for anything that happened? And yet, Odysseus remained silent.
Finally, Eurylochus had enough, and drew his large sword from his back. Odysseus was alarmed, and started trying to convince Eurylochus to lower his sword. It didn't prove successful.
"If you want all the power, you must carry all the BLAME!"
Odysseus quickly draws his sword as they start to fight. The crew gathered around, chanting for each of them.
"Eurylochus, Eurylochus, Eurylochus!"
"Odysseus, Odysseus, Odysseus!"
The fight continues, and Odysseus soon gets his second in command to the floor, pointing his sword at the larger man' throat, before someone calls out from behind him.
"Captain!"
Odysseus pauses, before slightly lowering his weapon as he looks back to the crewmember that had called him. It was Perimedes.
Before he could ask what he had wanted, he suddenly feels himself being picked up by the scruff of his neck, and he was greeted to the sight of Eurylochus' pissed off face, glaring directly at him as he held the Captain like he was a cat that had done something wrong. Odysseus gulps.
'Uh oh.'
He then feels the realization and guilt of what he was about to do, to his own brother-in-law no less. Gods, if the 6 men were bad, then this was the real final nail in the coffin for his guilt.
