Awake, even now?
Isagi could never figure you out. Whenever you were out there, on the field, you were like an anomaly. The most unpredictable player he had ever met, someone who he could never implement in his equations, yet always ended up relying on in the most desperate of times.
You weren't close. You cooperated for the sake of winning and advancing forward, but at the end of the day, you were both playing for yourselves, nothing more. He could try to understand you, predict your moves and adjust to them, but he somehow never managed to. There was just something about you that continued to take him by surprise, over and over and over again.
But he kind of enjoyed that about you. Your style was so uniquely you, ever-changing and different from anything he's seen before at Blue Lock. The idea of finding the missing puzzle piece about you excited him, which prompted him to come looking for you after training.
It was getting pretty late and most of the other members of the team had already gone to sleep. But not you. Unsurprisingly, you were sitting in a butterfly position in front of the enormous screens they used to watch the other teams, or the greatest players on the world.
"Heyx I didn't think you'd still be—" Your head whipped to the side when Isagi's voice snapped you out of your stupor. You shut the monitors, then turned your body to face him just a little. "—up. Am I intruding?"
