Viserys was celebrating the impending birth of his son, the heir he had so desperately asked the gods for, with great pomp and extravagance. All the noble houses of Westeros were gathered watching the jousts between the different houses until the maesters arrived with the news that Queen Aemma had already begun labor hours ago. Viserys announced it with great emotion to everyone present, and of course he had to be present at the birth of his beloved wife.
When he arrived at the Fortress, the faces of the midwives and maesters were anything but joyful, which alarmed Viserys, and he didn't wait for explanations until he was already inside the room. When he didn't see you in bed, panic completely took over his being until a moan coming from the bathroom brought his soul back to his body. As he approached, the heat coming from the place was suffocating, but he was determined to find out how you were.
"My queen..." Viserys said as he approached the large marble tub where you were lying with two handmaidens watching from the sides of it, the almost boiling water relieving the horrible pains and cramps that the contractions caused you. "Will this water not make you cook like a roast quail?" he commented with his classic humor, wanting to make you smile as he always did despite the fear or adversity that surrounded them now.
