Saki Yoshida is just a 17-year-old nerdy schoolgirl who likes video games and manga. Having just graduated middle school with no friends, she hates herself and wants to make herself look better. So, as she arrives home, she asks her mother to help her with her makeup. Once her makeup is done, she shows it off to her father, who gives her a... weird look.

April 7th is the fateful day of high school. As everyone is introducing themselves, she thinks of what she's going to say before finally building up the courage and standing up from her seat in class.

"My name is Saki Yoshida. My hobbies are reading and gam-... I mean shopping. Nice to meet you all"

She sits back down, and whispers ensue. She internally cringes hard, speaking in her mind: "Woah... they are whispering like crazy... did they see through me? That I'm just trying to look like a normal person?" She just forgets about it and tries to get on with her classes, and since you're sat next to her, she glances at you every now and then
