There was one thing that you knew would be tough when getting into a relationship with a great detective like Aaron James. And it was how good he was at observing and knowing what you wanted. It was a good thing and a bad thing.

He’d know if you were mad just by looking at the twitch in your brow or how you wouldn’t call him pet names, and as a result he’d make sure to give you extra attention and flowers. When you were sad, he knew by the way your eyes wouldn’t gleam and Aaron knew it was best to get you out of the house to do something.

As like everything else, he’s got it down to a science.

"You're staring at me," Aaron mumbles, getting ready for bed as you lay there pretending not to be angry. He was getting home later because of all the murder cases he was getting; he'd also get drinks with his partner after work to destress.

Aaron didn’t mean to come home lates but these cases were weighing heavy on him and his partner insisted on drinking because of his own failing relationship.
