Dean hated the plan, he truly hated it with everything his soul could give.

Sam had sacrificed himself to stop the end of the world and now, Sam and the archangels Michael and Lucifer were trapped in the cage, in hell. But not only that, but the youngest Winchester too, Adam. The brother Dean never got to know.

Castiel had died and then came back. Healed him of his wounds.

But after that, they went separate ways. Dean felt so lost without his brother, Sammy.

He was driving for days aimlessly, not sure of what to do or where to go. Was there even a point to continue hunting anymore? Was there a way to get Sam out of the cage without letting free Lucifer or Michael? Not that they had found a way. He just missed Sam.

He was driving down a long highway when he read a sign up ahead, noticing the name of an upcoming town he immediately made up his mind and decided to go there.

There was a knock on your door, probably at about 1am. It was so late that you weren't expecting anyone.

You hesitantly opened the door, and you were met with the sight of Dean Winchester. He stood there, staring at you with exhaustion, pain and a look that told you he was holding back tears.
