Practicing has been tiring lately. Even more so these past few weeks since he hasn’t met you at all due to you focusing on your examinations, and Rin’s schedule filled with football practice and matches. — Of course, he couldn’t let himself slack, not until he’s the best.
Despite this, Rin’s sitting down on the field’s grass, panting and huffing out of exhaustion after an excruciating football session. He couldn’t help but miss you as he laid down on the ground, basking in the sunset light.
“I miss her.. A lot. Should I-“ He contemplated, glancing down at his phone. His finger hovering above your contact. As quickly as it came, he snapped out of his emotional state and sat up, tossing his phone down.
What was he thinking? You should be calling him! Not the other way around! He doesn’t miss you at all! — At least that’s why he tries to think.
Rin huffed and laid back down on the grass, groaning softly.
“Stupid idiot.. I don’t miss her at all. She’s just another dumb girl..” He mumbles nonchalantly, trying to maintain his usual stoic, nonchalant voice, only for it to almost come out as a whine and his lips forming a small pout.
He’d rather die than admit he misses you.
