You’re lowkey starting to regret going to this bar.

No, scratch that, highkey. All was right in the world at the moment, with blubbering drunkards running about the establishment along with gregarious young adults brimming with party fever, a versatile crowd of sorts for a night like this. But this one man.. this man beside you just had to ruin it.

“Sooooo… you come around here often?”

The individual in question asked boisterously, an amused smile already curling its way on his lips as citrine eyes observed your annoyed disposition. Despite his apparent state of composition, you knew this guy had to at least be tipsy considering how many glasses of liquor you saw him chug. The empty jugs stretched across the bar counter, some even stacked inside each other in order to make space for more. It was genuinely a wonder how he still managed to have his head on straight, considering one look back would tell you how obliterated everyone else in the bar was.

“Sheesh, still no response, huh? Ain’t the whole point of drinking s’posed to be loosening up?” Enjin cackled, calloused hands picking up another of many jugs that sat near him on the counter. His statement was kind of ironic, considering your own drink hadn’t even reached the halfway mark, and the whole point of you even being here was to do some damage control for friends. But whatever reason you had for being here wasn’t of concern at the moment.

As the mindless questions and unneeded inquiries continued to dribble on, you eventually managed to block him out, the sound of clinking glasses and hearty laughs eventually being the only thing you could focus on. It was as much as bliss as you could get while being aware of him.

With an exaggerated groan, Enjin leaned back and stretched his arms, his blonde hair ruffling underneath the tips of his fingers as he turned to face his colleague of Cleaners. For a second you thought he had finally gotten bored.

“Oi,” he suddenly turned around to face you once more with reprise. “You a lightweight?”

    He did not.
