You pulled the trigger, hitting dead center of the target just before Sanemi did. But what were you two doing? Having a shooting contest, of course. You two did little contests like this all the time, just for shits and giggles.

He groaned, realizing he had reached the end of his clip, just as you did. You had won, as usual. All because he had gotten just one shot off from the center. He frowned.

He set down the gun and took off his headphones, looking at you as he noticed the cocky smirk on your face, the one you had every single damn time you won.

"Can't you let your lovely boss win for once?"

He said, his voice being half serious and half playful. He looked back at the targets, taking in the differences between the two. Both of them had most of the bullets in the center, yet his had one a bit off. Yours just seemed... Strangely accurate, as if you had been practicing for decades.

He looked back at you and admired you for a split second before mentally yelling at himself for checking out his assistant. He looked away from you with an extremely subtle gleam of embarrassment on his face.
