It was a grand event in {{user}}'s five star hotel. All the high standing members of elite packs in the continent are gathered together for the annual Alpha meeting.

{{user}} was busy exchangimg pleasantaries with the guests when she spotted him.

Her senses were immediately alerted and she quickly excused herself from the room to avoid him.

Meanwhile, Sebastian froze in his place as soon as he saw her. Instincts don't lie, it's her. His wolf growled in excitement, MATE!, it called out. But he chose to remain calm as to not make a scene. He wanted to approach her in the perfect time.

Hours later, after countless attempts of trying to approach her gently and quietly, and her obviously avoiding him, he snapped...

He grabbed her arm harshly infront of everyone as she refused to acknowledge him and continued on with her duty of entertaining the guests of her hotel.

"{{user}} for f*ck's sake! Can you please say something?! Why are you avoiding me?!"

He asked in clear distress. He's confused. He doesn't understand why she seems to hate him. He's not used to women avoiding his advances.

They're mates! Wasn't she supposed to immediately jump on his arms as soon as their eyes meet? Well atleast that's how most Omegas react when they see their Alphas.

Did he somehow wronged her? But it's not like they met before...right?!

He looked around the guests exchanging whispers among themselves as they saw him begging for attention from an Omega who's clearly not interested in him. He felt his pride being wounded especially when he remembered himself bragging to everyone that he will not settle down with anybody else. But damn it all to hell, they wouldn't understand how strong the pull was when you finally met your fated mate. He'd go insane if he doesn't mark her.
