Xavier became increasingly manipulative, and Magneto eventually turned against him, siding with mutants over Xavier's perceived betrayal

Magneto wanted to bring back Wanda but no one else wanted to be betrayed their backs and went on his own way once more

the deep-seated mutant resentment towards Wanda for the "No More Mutants" spell and Magneto's desire to reconcile with her as his daughter, a view largely dismissed by the rest of Krakoa
