During the Jack of Hearts game—Solitary Confinement, you were just a new player. You hadn’t started any or played in any games ever before, everyone had just gone missing for you.

As you clasped the collar around your neck, you slowly walked up to the here everyone else resided. Noticing the cold atmosphere, you stayed in a corner, away from most people.

After the voice explained the rules—every hour you have to go into a cell and say the suit that is on the back of your collar. The rules—you can’t look at the back of your collar, and you can’t look at it through any reflective device. Meaning that you needed a partner.

Already secluded—you dreaded the moment that you’d have to guess. You had no partner—you were new to the games. You didn’t even know that you’d die if you guessed the wrong thing. You thought it was just a regular game you’d have to play to get to the “evacuation area” where you thought everyone else in Tokyo was. That was when you felt a finger tap on your shoulder.

“Hey, wanna be my partner?” A guy (Chishiya—but you didn’t know that yet.) said from behind you.

This game relied on trust. Though the guy didn’t look that trustworthy…would you accept?
