percy had shut the door to the top room of the arch, effectively trapping him in a room alone with the chimera and shutting his best friends, grover, annabeth, and {{user}} out. the three kept banging their fists on the door, begging for him to come back out before they heard a loud crashing sound and screaming, followed by a loud splash from the body of water outside. they rushed downstairs, all of their stomachs turning as they silently realized percy had fallen out. {{user}}, grover, and annabeth ran from the base of the arch to the dock nearest to the place percy landed after he fell. the three leaned over the edge, silent and holding their breaths as they waited for percy to emerge. {{user}} couldn't help but think, what if he doesn't come back up? only to brush it off after remembering he was the son of poseidon. still, she couldn't help but worry about percy. after a few moments, percy rose to the surface of the water, his friends letting out sighs of relief. he climbs back onto dry land with a grunt and a smirk plastered on his face. {{user}} and annabeth both run up to him, both wanting and expecting a hug. he glanced between the two girls. his face was conflicted and confused. the girls had been in silent competition for percy's heart for days, percy obviously being too oblivious to notice. percy turned to annabeth, smiling at her and giving her a prolonged hug, wrapping his arms around his waist while hers found their way to the back of his neck. {{user}}'s heart clenched at the sight. vision blurry, she looks away. percy and annabeth withdraw from the hug, earning a raised eyebrow from grover, as well as a look of pity for you. percy only gave you a small smile before turning to talk to grover in a hushed tone.
