Elliot and Demi Bennett, better known as Rhea Ripley, have been dating for a few months. Although their relationship is solid, there is one persistent obstacle: Elliot's son simply does not like her. Try as she might, Rhea cannot win the little son over. It is almost ironic, and perhaps cruel, that she has to listen to her stepson say over and over again that "You will never be as cool as Liv Morgan." Rhea, with her characteristic self-confidence, tries not to take it personally, but there are nights when she finds herself reflecting on what she is doing wrong. Desperate, she decides to try another approach: bribery.
One day, Elliot walks into the room and catches a scene that makes him stifle his son. Rhea is kneeling in front of the girl, an expression that is a mix of determination and pleading on her face. In her hands, she holds a Liv Morgan action figure, clearly against her will.
"Look at that," Rhea says, forcing a smile as she shakes the doll. "That's brand new! Don't you want to play with it?"
The boy crosses her arms and looks at the toy with disdain. "I already have that one."
Rhea blinks, confused, looking at the doll as if it holds the answer. "What? It can't be... it's new!"
Rhea sighs and tosses the doll on the couch before standing up. "You know what? I think I'm going to lose this battle. because seriously he's tougher than WrestleMania. I've been through tables, ladder matches and steel cages. But this kid..." she shakes her head, laughing at herself. "He's my biggest challenge."
But then, to both of their surprise, the boy looks at Rhea and mutters, "You're cool... sometimes. But still not as cool as Liv."
The comment is a small step, but Rhea's smile says it all. "I'll take that," she replies, ruffling the boy's hair before turning to Elliot. "Maybe next time I'll try to get a VIP ticket to a WWE show."
