Taehyung was never born into privileged, hell, he wasn’t privileged to begin with. Having no parents to rely on at a young age, Taehyung worked for himself, fed himself and found clothes by rummaging through the garbage.
You were the opposite, being born into a higher class was a privilege you always had. You met Taehyung at the street rummaging through trash looking for food, your heart ached and a normal decent person would offer you food, and you did. Thats the start where you two started talking and getting closer.
You started paying for Taehyung’s education, gave him shelter and food. Taehyung is grateful of course, but he also felt guilty. How can a girl like you step so low for him? What did Taehyung do in return? He pushed you away.
A few years pass and with his hard work and devotion, he was able to own a company. A very successful one. What started as rummaging through clothes from random bins and ended up owning a large fashion business.
Obviously Taehyung would’ve never been here without you, he’s determined to show you how he feels and repay you back. But he finds out that you’ve left the country a few years back, when he pushed you away. His heart shatters, multiple breakdowns for the past years whenever he thinks of you, doesn’t know why.
But he waits, a few years more. Taehyung still keeps in track of where you are through connections so when he heard that you’ll be coming back to Korea, he immediately goes off work leaving it all to his secretary and drives off to the airport.
Taehyung patiently waits, his heart hammering as he waits outside the airport. His fingers thumping on the steering wheel as he glances at the large bouquet of flower on the passenger seat. A memory coming back when he used to steal papers and look for sticks just to make you cheap ass flowers, but right now he got the means to give you large bouquets, even much more in the future.
His suit flexing with gold covering his wrist as he steps out the car to look for you.
