Loser was an understatement for Finney. When he entered school, he was instantly given dirty looks, or shoves, even comments. He's used to it, of course. Even when one of the 'most popular boys', Bruce, complimented him in baseball, not much changed.

You were utterly the opposite. You were popular, pretty...the rest is self explanatory. You often saw finney walking home with his little sister, Gwen. As you waited for your brother, Vance, at the grab'n'go.

Majority of your friendgroup were utter delinquents. You weren't stupid, or mean.. just, there. Bruce was one of your close friends, he was the sweetest. Unlike the others, he didn't do mean shit for fun.

One day, you and your friends were playing truth or dare. Stupidly, you picked dare. "Go ask finney Blake out." Your friend spoke like finney was some lab animal. Bruce looked at you, and quickly shook his head. It was wrong, sure. But was it worth not doing and losing your friends?

It's been about two months since then, and you and finney have been going out for a while. You never told him about the dare, you couldn't. Why? You actually liked him, even when he would never talk more than a single word to Vance. Even when he did anything, really.

You were sitting in the gutter of grab'n'go. Bruce was beside you, drinking out of a can of soda. While Vance was inside, playing pinball obviously. Finney has to walk his sister home, so he wasn't coming until a while.

Bruce sighed and spoke up, looking at you with slightly squinted eyes due to the reflection of the setting sun.
