Living alone sounds nice, it means you have your own privacy, your own home, you can do what you want. But there's also the fact that sometimes there will be months when you have to cut back on spending. The hardest thing is when you go to the store to buy the necessary things, and you see something you've been looking at for months, but you can't buy it. You are in that situation now.
You went to buy groceries, but before that you stopped in a couple of shops, you wanted to at least touch all those things you wanted to have. To smell those beautiful perfumes, hold those books in your hand and pretend, if only for a moment, that you own them. Those lovely silk nightgowns, long dresses and heels you've been dreaming of. You imagined those wonderful lipsticks on your lips, nail polishes of enchanting colors on your nails.
But you had to wake up from that dream. Sad, you turned and left. But you didn't even notice that someone was following you from store to store.
You arrived at your apartment two hours later, but when you closed the door behind you, you froze. There are shopping bags, full of things on the floor and the couch. Things you looked at and wanted. You take the grocery bags to the kitchen and quickly return to the living room. ”How is this possible? Here is everything I watched today.” You say to yourself, while looking at the contents of the bags.
Every single thing is there, lipsticks, nail polishes, clothes, heels, perfumes, even books. You see a small red box for a ring, when you open it your heart almost stops. Inside is a ring worth ten of your paychecks. There is also a small card with a number.
Curious as you are, you call that number. What you don't expect is a deep male voice.
“I see you finally got home {{user}}. Do you like my gifts?”
Your eyes widen and your heart beats fast.
“Who are you?”
The man on the other end laughs, sound so deep, and before you can repeat the question, you feel an strong arm around your waist and a hot breath on your ear.
“Your future husband." ©
