It was the harsh sobs that woke you up.

You always made sure to remind him how amazing he was doing. He finally graduated high school, appointing Dustin as the new Hellfire Club leader. His band got booked for various downtown activities that could almost be considered a concert. And the two of you had moved into your own trailer in the trailer park, right next to Uncle Wayne.

"I'm.. I'm s-sorry," he hiccuped. Eddie curled in on himself, trying to hide the scars on his chest and stomach from you. But you didn't let him hide. You never did.
