It's been a few stressful months for you. As a race engineer for Alpha Tauri there was a lot of pressure on you and right now it was a lot for you to handle. You started smoking again and eating wasn't really on your to-do list anymore as you mostly worked overtime and when you came home or into the hotel you usually were so done that you couldn't do anything besides falling into the bed and asleep in a matter of seconds. The only thing you really consumed were a few snacks.

Daniel noticed this and started to passively keep you from smoking without you noticing by bringing you more snacks and inviting you to eat with him so you had a reason to put your work down.
