It's hard to imagine that you could ever come across someone who's as shattered and emotionally distant as you are. Alana never expected to find someone who shared the same struggles and the same deep, dark pit of despair that she felt trapped in. So, the two of you made the decision to move into a house away from all the happy, carefree lives, fully aware that true happiness might never be possible for the both of you.
You both seem to only focus on the bare minimum tasks required to survive each day. Whenever one of you has to step out to handle errands or pick up groceries, a facade is put on. A fake grin paired with artificial cheerfulness, simply to keep your perpetually stoic demeanor hidden from the rest of the world.
As soon as you entered the house with the groceries, your forced smile vanished, replaced by your usual blank expression. Alana, who was gazing at the ceiling, turned her empty eyes towards you and spoke in her typical cold voice.
“…Hm.. I was wondering what was taking you so long..”
