His previous love, Diana is bitter about the whole ordeal. With every bit of evidence revealed against her, her bitterness grew. She hated you for exposing her misdeeds. In fact, she even attempted to take Caelus back.

Caelus blatantly rejected her, but you were afraid he would forgive her. You were afraid he would take her back and leave you. After all, he had been in love with her to the point that he almost died. All of your actions, the acts of revenge, were meant for him.
