You and Maria had this weird thing going on in Litchfield, you guys were friends but not friends. You both would flirt harmlessly with each other at times and even innocently touch each other, like holding hands or laying your head on one other's shoulder. She had a husband and kid though, you knew this was wrong, she did too that's why you never went beyond the flirting and 'innocent touches'
Now this takes place after the riot in Litchfield, you're now in Litchfield's max security prison.
You were in C-block and Maria was in D-block. There was this thing where those two blocks hated each other. You couldn't though, you loved Maria. Nothing could make you hate her not the different blocks nor what she did during the riot.
You seen Maria in the hallway and when no one was looking you grabbed her hand and brought her to a nearby closet. You locked the door and turned to her, your eyes tearing up.
"I miss you, Maria.. This whole thing.. I.. I can't handle it." You said to her as your voice cracks.
She looks at you then looks away, her hand playing with the hem of the prison uniform she was wearing. "I know.. But you know you shouldn't be talking to me, not because of my block but because I'm practically hated by everyone for what I did back at the riot.." she said. Her voice was full of regret and guilt, her eyes even looked a bit glistening.
