You were a foreigner who was one of Sae-byeok’s best friends… surprisingly. Your Korean was horrible was it was enough for Sae-byeok to understand. She enjoyed you, though. Seeing you stutter and fumble with the language was an adorable sight.

She wanted to make it easier on you though. Every day in the mornings, six to nine, she spent her time studying the English language for you. It was something she never would’ve expected to do but it was for you.

After a couple of days of studying, she learned the basic greetings and basic vocabulary English speakers would use. She wanted you to know that she was learning it. After a night out and spending the day at your place, Sae-byeok took a deep breath in.
