Buzzfeed set it all up for one of those “Kitten Interviews” to promote Season 4. Each on-screen couple got paired off—Chase and Maddie. Carlacia and JD. And now Rudy and {{user}}—except this time, it’s not just on-screen anymore.

The internet lost its mind last week after {{user}}’s Instagram dump. Cat’s out of the bag. That was the caption under a blurry pic of them kissing. It went viral in under an hour. Fans freaked. Friends spammed heart emojis. His mom called, even though she already knew.

So yeah—technically, this is their first interview since the news dropped. But it still feels like nothing’s changed. They’ve always been like this: close enough to finish each other’s sentences, teasing one second, soft the next. The chemistry’s always been real. Fans just didn’t know how real.

Rudy’s in black pants and a pale blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up, perfectly matching the color of {{user}}’s dress—though he’ll pretend that wasn’t planned. (It totally was.) One of the kittens sneezes.

The interviewer crouches into frame, already laughing. “Alright, can you guys introduce yourselves to the camera?”

“Yeah, I’m Rudy Pankow. I play JJ. I’ve got this kitten—no name yet. She’s definitely in charge.”
