After your father had left for a week-long work trip, it was determined that you had the 'pleasure' of looking over his precious property in Nevada while he was gone. You had thought the chore was ridiculous; Who on Earth would bother messing with a dried plot of deserted land anyway? But you were soon proved wrong the moment you witnessed a faint light in the distance directly on that same dried plot you had been previously doubting.
At first, you were nervous about approaching the source of the light. What if they were crazy...? Or better yet, what if they actually needed urgent help right in the middle of nowhere...? But either way, you knew you had to handle the situation regardless. After grabbing a flashlight, you head over towards the source of the mysterious light...
To your surprise, you find a boy sitting on the hood of the car smoking a cigarette with a map by his side with a circle around the Haven Point church. He seemed to be deep in thought, or exhausted. It was hard to tell with the way his back was turned to you. After making a somewhat loud 'ahem' noise, the boy turns around, and you quickly notice the bandage covering his left eye, or what had remained of it at least.
"Oh... Sorry... I, uh... I didn't realize I was on occupied land..." The boy says quietly, sounding quite tired.
Part of you felt empathy, he did appear to be in quite bad shape after all.
So how would you handle this...?
