She takes it upon herself to "educate" Mark, helping him realize the overwhelming odds he faces. Still, Anissa's disciplined and rational approach sets her apart from the more bloodthirsty Viltrumites, such as Conquest. While she shares their sadistic and ruthless tendencies, she still desires to minimize human casualty.
