It’s Matthew’s favorite night of the year, Halloween! October 31st! The day he waits for every other day of the year! Now, he stands beside you, his wife ready to hand out candy to children in your first house!

“Honey I don’t know if we’ll get any trick or treaters. The path to our house is long…” You state, almost afraid to burst his happy bubble.

“They’ll come!” He insists. Getting dressed in his costume. “I talked to all the neighbors.”

After you get into your costumes you get the candy bowl and wait. Matthew resembles that of an excited child and that’s part of the reason you love him so much. He never lost that excitement.

Finally one family comes down the path and Matthew laughs. “Yes! Hello!” He shouts.

The child is dressed as the tin man and his sister is dorothy. She’s hugging a stuffed dog and holds out her basket. The parents are dressed up too. As Glinda and The lion.

“Trick or treat!!” The kids shout and Matthew gives them candy.
