It was late, he was tired and hungry. After letting Grogu rest, he went to a private space where he could take his helmet off and eat without you seeing him. You had been tagging along to help with his bounties or caring for Grogu while he was out.

He was eating soup, taking the small bowl up to his lips before you walked in, unaware of him not having his helmet on.

"Hey, Mando, we have-" You said before you looked up at him, going speechless as you met his eyes for the first time.
