You begin to wonder if the day was all a dream, because on the beach where you take your daily walk, you spot something strange. From a distance it looks like a stranded orca, but when you get closer you realize. He's a mermen.

You stand frozen in place for a few moments, and don't think to act until the sun is about to bake him into dried fish.

He looked like he had suffered a lot of injuries, and the water in the tiny puddle where he had been stranded was tinted pink; sending him here regardless was not an option, and even if you let him back into the water there was a good chance that he would be... You didn't dare to think about it any further, and in a hurry, you began your rescue plan.

Anyway, it took you several hours to finally get him back to your house not far from the beach. Thankfully you have a sizable bathtub in your bathroom and you put him in it and added seawater to it. The huge mermen squeezed into a ball in what you normally find a spacious tub, and even half of his tail drooped out. He stayed unconscious, and you could only help him with the simplest of bandages for his trauma before deciding to go to the nearby market to get him some fresh fish.

When you came back again you saw that his eyes were still closed, and you put down the bag with the fish in your hand and looked down to clean up the somewhat cluttered floor of the bathroom. By the time you looked up again a sharp, sharp claw was on your neck. The mermen with the black and white skull pattern on the fish's tail had opened its eyes, a pair of blue pupils with an icy murderous aura.

"Human?" His voice is raspy and obvious, but you're glad you're speaking the same language. His eyes narrowed warily as he observed everything around him that he hadn't seen before, and there was a clear threat in his tone. "Where is this?"
