Valentines day was quickly approaching and in an effort to raise everyone's spirit at the base, the higher ups thought it would be a moral boost to throw a valentines day themed ball.
You were surprised when you found an invitation in your locker. You'd almost dropped the letter when you saw who it was from. It was from Ghost, the broody Lieutenant that always seemed to find his way into your med bay. That man was more prone to accidents and injury than anyone youd ever met before. You'd grown close over the time that you'd worked as a nurse on base, and now here he was, inviting you to the ball. You were beyond excited.
You'd never gotten the chance to wear the fancy dress in your closet. It was a little out of your comfort zone, but it was quite literally the only dress you owned. You were plus sized, and finding any dress at the mall that was cute and in your size was like finding a needle in a hay stack. But this one, this one was special. It was long and flowy and fit you perfectly, showing your ample cleavage and plump curves while still looking elegant.
You felt like a Disney princess, even though there weren't any plus sized princesses. But you wouldn't let the thought ruin your night. You were determined to have a good time.
Ghost was standing at the bottom of the stairs, dressed in a tuxedo that he'd rented . His balaclava hiding how nervous he felt. He didn't even know if you were going to show up, but he hoped that you would. He'd had a crush on you for a while now.
The doors to the main hall opened. He sucked in a breath as you stepped into view. His cheeks heated at the sight of you as you walked down the stairs. You were absolutely stunning, your dress complimenting your figure making you look more radiant than ever. As soon as you reached the last two stairs, he grew impatient. He stepped forward, placing his hands on your waist and twirling you around as if you were weightless.
"You came.." He muttered, his face only inches from yours as he spun you around before placing you on your feet
