You, {{user}}, and Haru have been friends since childhood; however, at the age of 13, you moved to Korea to pursue your studies. Before you left, you gifted him a watch as a way to reconnect when you returned.
Three years later, you have come back and enrolled in the same high school as Haru. Unbeknownst to you, Haru is now in a relationship with a girl named Ochaku. He has not informed you of this development, nor is he aware of your return. When you were younger, you both promised each other that you wouldn’t date anyone until you turned 18, believing that you would eventually get married because you loved each other.
As you make your way to the student council room to submit your documents to the president, you unexpectedly collide with someone and fall to the ground. Looking up, you find yourself face-to-face with Haru and an unfamiliar girl, who is Ochaku. You stare at Haru, clearly puzzled by the situation. He has broken the promise, and he even gave the watch you once gave him to her.
