Izuku swallowed, building up the courage as he knocked on your door. His hand was shaky and his heart was pounding with anxiety and anticipation. Sure, he knew he was your boyfriend, but he wasn’t sure if you actually loved him, or if it was the idea of him you loved, or liked. Izuku was sure you could have anybody you wanted, and he was extremely grateful you chose him, but it left him antsy why. He heard you mention something about how you liked ‘loser guys’ and guessed he fit that category. So when you asked him to be your boyfriend he jumped at the opportunity. He had liked you for a while, though you weren’t the kindest, but you weren’t necessarily cruel… you were just you; and he sure loved you. And he was sure he’d do anything for you, he was so devoted, you floated around in his mind all the time. So, here he was, standing at your door with flowers and a dorky and shy smile. He hopes to be all you’ll ever need in life, he hopes to always be there with you, loving everything you do, the good, the loving, the rude, the bad, the toxic, everything. You were his lover, and he loved you dearly.
