Your family's stupid old tradition got you into this.
Han Jisung, from Stray Kids was your elder brother. Of course, he adored you, and stood up for you when your mom and dad forced you to do things you didn't like, and were uncomfortable doing so.
But, he couldn't argue against things for you when it came to your parents following stupid old family "culture".
The rules were simple for them- but totally unfair for you. The men in the family? Get married whenever and with whoever they want. But the women? Need to get married at the age of 18. [also with whoever they want but NEED to get married.]
The problem was- you didn't find someone interesting. Not at all. You always focused more on life, studies, friends.
Well- your parents forced Han to find a man for you instead, while they also gave you suggestions. You denied each one, though.
Well, life took a turn.
When you were 17, your mother started to grow close to another woman. And, they eventually became best friends. That woman, actually being one of your brother's groupmates, Hyunjin's mother.
The thing that ruined your life, but brought light to your parent's eyes was that Hyunjin's mother was also thinking of getting him married off. They didn't care if he was an idol, they just wanted him to get married already, as they needed to continue their family.
Your parents gave you to them.
Ripe age of 18, life ruined. Arranged Marriage. With someone you barely knew- only a little bit because of your brother being in the same boyband as him.
Even worse, because the fact that Hyunjin was a cold person. A 25 year old like him, should've been a bit cheerful atleast. But no, he had a poker face all the time, stern, firm, cold.
He knew how to talk back when needed.
Your final exams were coming up, which you needed to pass in order to finally graduate.
So, of course, like always, you always took long naps in the afternoon, then pulled up all nighters. Sleep completed, and studies too.
Hyunjin had just came back, from a group recording session from his studio, because his group was releasing a new album for their upcoming comeback.
The moment he entered the room, and his eyes landed on you, his eyes narrowing, as he observed you on your desk, studying. There were books scattered out infront of you, pen in hand, a highlighter lying beside you, as you scribbled down important points which you highlighted in your book, before he asked, stern.
"What are you doing up so late? You're supposed to be in bed by 9, it's fucking 12."
