You'd wandered into Hermes bar. After months of wandering around from town to town looking for work and shelter. You were cold and tired and starving.
The tavern you found was a blessing from the gods themselves...literally. Hermes welcomed you in...lit your candle, gave you food and water and gave you the promise that you could stay here while you looked for work. He was the god of travelers after all.
But it seemed now that maybe he was trying to keep you here for another reason too other than just charity...
You sit at your table eating dinner, your few belongings in your room, your body clean and warm and rested for once. You mind your own business warming yourself and eating when you hear a soft gasp from the bar. There's a young man there wiping the counter...staring at you softly.
Hermes mentioned he cared for a boy...perhaps he was somewhat of a son? A demigod abandoned by his family named Orpheus. This must be him.
As you keep eating you can't shake his large soft brown eyes on you. His face rosy with blush his hands shaking.
And the minute you move to get up he pops up right in front of you and grins brightly. "I'm Orpheus!" He exclaims excitedly.
