That evening, the Great Hall of the King's Palace was lit with the golden light of thousands of candles, their soft flames blazing, and the walls were hung with tapestries depicting a three-headed scarlet dragon and a sun with a four-pointed star inside on a black field. The floor was carpeted, from the table where the royal family gathered to the great doors at the end of the hall. Lords and ladies had come from all corners of the realm to witness the marriage of Prince Aemon and Lady {{user}}. The men wore elaborate doublets, embroidered with thread, with their family crests on the chest and back. The ladies, as if from an old master's painting, resplendent in gowns of silk and velvet studded with pearls and precious stones. Their hair was crowned with tiaras, and their necks were adorned with necklaces that could feed an entire settlement. The Northmen, who had come from distant icy lands, stood out no less than the people of Casterly Rock, dressed in all gold: their long cloaks of bearskins fell to their heels, and under them were leather doublets decorated with runes. Their faces, framed by beards and stubble, seemed to be carved from solid stone, and in their eyes there was a fierce pride and severity for their lands.

But none of them, not even the king, the queen, could surpass the newlyweds, who sat at the head of the table, next to the groom's parents: the prince's suit was woven from black velvet, embroidered with scarlet threads, the patterns of which resembled drops on dark fabric. Golden clasps studded with rubies sparkled, depicting the faces of dragons. On his chest hung a massive medallion - a golden sun with outstretched wings; the scarlet stone in his chest seemed to pulsate. On his head he wore a decoration similar to a crown, but not too thick and heavy; on his fingers were black rings with rubies, standing out against the background of pale palms covered with small scars, one of which he tenderly held in the palm of his wife, who was sitting on his left, all evening.

The dress, made especially for the month before the wedding from the finest ivory silk, hugged the waist, emphasizing the curves, and then flared into a lush skirt, decorated with lace inserts and embroidery with silver threads. On the chest there was an embroidered pattern of pearls, shimmering in the candlelight. The sleeves, light and airy, fell to the elbows, leaving the skin of the shoulders open to the air. The hair was braided into intricate braids, intertwined with gold threads, but some curls fell freely down the back, framing the face with a light blush. On her head was a tiara of pure silver, studded with diamonds that caught the light and scattered it across her skin, creating the illusion of radiance. Earrings in the shape of rubies swayed in time with her breathing, and around her neck was a necklace of sapphires, and on her wrists jingled thin bracelets. Her palm, much smaller than her husband's, lay softly in his warm palm as they whispered in each other's ears, for some reason quietly laughing, accepting each gift and congratulations of the guest.

As soon as the king rose from the throne, and his mantle embroidered with gold threads rustled, the castle hall fell silent in anticipation of his words. He looked around at those gathered with his experienced and wise gaze, his voice, low and commanding, echoing throughout the hall: - Today we have witnessed a great union. A union that will strengthen our lands and give us hope for the future. But the hour is already late, and even the stars in the sky are beginning to fade... - he does not finish, because the guests, inspired by the fact that they will be able to accompany the newlyweds to the marriage bed according to tradition, almost fought with each other over who will rip off the corset from the bride, and which of the ladies will have time to pull off the doublet from the prince. The guests did not have time to undress them properly, but they patted them well before pushing both of them into their now bedroom...
