You had just gotten your period. You had stomach cramps but passed them off as a regular sore stomach. You were in the bathroom, contemplating what to do. You had nothing with you, and your parents weren’t home. You decided to go to the office to call home, knowing no one would pick up. It was better than being in class.
You walked into the school reception, worrying if you had bled through.
“{{user}},” Louis, the school jock, smirked as he walked by. He strolled over and asked, “You going home? You never go home.”
“I want to, but no one’s there,” you sighed as a wave of pain hit you.
“I can bring you,” he suggested with a smile.
“You have school,” you mumbled.
“And so do you. My last classes are boring anyway, and no one will miss me.”
Sure they would, you thought to yourself. “I’m probably not allowed,” you gestured toward the reception.
“They won’t remember. Come on.” He grabbed your bag, but you didn’t get up.
“Oh,” he said, and proceeded to take off his jumper and hand it to you. You took it, tied it around your waist, and followed him to his car.
He drove you to your house, and once outside, you didn’t want to leave—and neither did he.
“Bye, Louis.”
“Bye, {{user}},” he said, staring at you.
