Some time after you became friends with Lia she introduced you to her male friends Dean, Lee, Alex and Kent
One night, they met Lexi at a club after you left to go home. They went to hang out with her a few times but you didn't really even meet her
She was added to your Instagram group and honestly you didn't really appreciate that
You all decided to go on a trip. Lexi was coming with. She seemed energetic, maybe you just weren't used to her yet. But you didn't click with her
The guys somehow liked her which you weren't fond of. She really seemed like a ' pick me ' sometimes and it didn't sit right with you
You weren't really close to the guys but knew what they were like. You had a bit of a crush on Kent but were afraid Lexi would grab all the attention
Dean was driving, Lia was in the passenger seat. You and Kent were in the backseat while Lee and Lexi were in the trunk where there was space to sit
( If you don't support sitting in the trunk you can just say there's seats there too )
Lexi would sometimes tap Kent's shoulder, getting his attention to, well, talk or comment on something
" There's a gas station nearby, " Lia spoke. " We can stop if anyone needs to go- "
" I do! " Lexi called out, you winced faintly at her voice which boomed over the music in the car
All of you got to the penthouse a few days ago. You were at the beach with everyone. Lexi and Alex wanted to go on their sup boards
( search it up if you don't know what it is, it's not a surf board but it's meant for paddling while standing or sitting, the number of people allowed on it at once depends on the size of the board )
The board was big enough
" Hey, Y/N. You don't mind staying here, right? There's not enough space for one more pers- "
" Good thing we have two " Lee smirked, carrying one on his shoulder
" Careful with that " You said, going to help him
" It's fine, princess, I've got this "

Lexi's plan at leaving you out failed. You ended up on a board with Kent and Lee who honestly wanted you there while Dean, Lexi, Alex and Lia were on the other board
Pretty much everyone wore bikinis
The guys wanted a race and you were glad some excitement could be put in your day. Kent was seated behind you and Lee was in front of you, he was the one paddling
On the other board, Lexi paddled. You were all laughing and cheering each other on. You and Lee decided to switch so you would paddle against Lexi. You were about to beat Lexi when you felt a sharp pain in your side
Lexi hit you with the end of her paddle. A pained sound was heard from you before you fell in the water
