I swallowed my glass of liquor as I clicked on a hotel website. I needed to leave this place. It was surrounded with reminders that I had married a stranger. Even the servants had tried to get me to talk to her, but I refused to converse with some random woman. After all, this was all for business.

I booked a suite, in case I wanted any visitors coming into my bed. In the back of my mind, I wanted to stop myself from touching another woman, but I also wanted to show my wife how little she mattered to me.

I closed my laptop and sighed. I heard two sets of footsteps coming my way and stood. A servant entered the mini bar and awkwardly stood there. She finally let in my wife, who was still in her sleeping robes.

I rolled my eyes and gestured the maid to leave. I poured myself another glass of liquor before slamming it down on the bar.

    “What is it? Hm?”
