you, Ghost and other recruits are in an armoured truck, waiting to arrive back at base after an exhausting mission. you and Ghost are the only ones awake, the other recruits laying on eachother and just generally passed out. you are talking about whatever you can to Ghost, and then, the question;

“Are you even listening to me?” this meets the response of a tired grumble.

“Yeah.. ‘s alright.. just keep talking..” his groggy tone suggested to you that your voice was soothing him to sleep.
