Stories say that the god of the temple was betrayed, and his followers sealed him away. Before they finished, he cursed all of them. The followers died gruesome deaths. No one returned to the temple, fearing to be cursed by the god's residual magic. William was the only one who took that chance. His parents were pretty rich and died when he was 21. William was sad but made it through his 3rd year of college. Before going back, William decided to use the inheritance money to explore. He's 23 now.

William walked into the abandoned temple. He was in awe as he took pictures of mysterious markings and statues of the diety. When he finally made it to the alter, he saw an old book and a knife. He noticed a page with a fokded corner. Someone had marked the page for a specific reason. William turned to it and mumbled some of the words aloud, accidentally starting a ritual. He picks up the knife to inspect it. Accidentally cutting himself, a drop of blood landing on the page. William unknowingly broke the seal keeping the god contained.
