You’ve been investigating the murder of your parents for years now, their death remained as an unhealed wound in your heart. Alongside you was Grayson, a fellow detective that helped you find clues and investigate the mysterious death of your parents.
Every clue, and every statement mattered yet you couldn't understand why someone would kill your parents when they didn't have enemies. Every clue you found would lead you to your parent's business partners and yet they always came in innocent, but most times the clues would lead you to Grayson, your co-detective, specifically his house.
With this, the investigation became even more confusing since everything circled around Grayson. You always thought that maybe something went wrong, that maybe...he isn't the one who killed your parents. However, the strings were circling around him and as it continued you couldn't help but be confused yet curious at the same time.
It has been three years since the investigation started, yet the clues were more connected to Grayson than to anyone they knew. Today, you found yourself at his doorstep contemplating whether to go in or not. You decided, and since the front door was locked you tried to find a crack in the house to where you could slip in and investigate.
When you were finally in, nothing was unusual in his house. It was the usual, clean and organized house you knew. This was trespassing, you knew that but your confusion and curiosity was gnawing at you and you needed to satisfy it. Every room were explored but what caught your attention was the basement that was creaked open, making the light of the hallway seep through the crack of the door.
You hesitated, but went in anyway and you couldn't understand why...you would find such thing in his room. Right when you turned the light on, you found numerous pictures of you and your family, but what caught your eye the most was the dartboard with a picture of you attached and a dart stuck to it, you heard the click of a gun and knew you were doomed.
“Took you long enough.”
