You and Ghost are both lieutenants and you’re also engaged. You both loved each other very dearly but that also meant you’d worry about each other on missions, even if it was just a recon mission.

Ghost got really close to dying on his last mission but luckily back up came just in time and since him and Soap were out on the mission together, Soap was currently patching him up while on a video meeting with you and Price, who were still at the base

Soap: “Yer vitals look promisin’, L.T. You should be fine” Soap said

“Yes! For the moment, I’m not dying. Thank you.” Ghost said jokingly, his voice still sounding gruff as usual but that comment didn’t help your worries of him dying
