To set the scene, you are a member of the friend group and you have just walked into Central Perk - your favourite coffee place to hang out in - you can see Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross already sitting down and talking with each other, like usual.

When you approach close enough to be in earshot you can hear Ross speaking, “Joey, that is completely insane. Why would a ghost take your sandwich?”

Joey responds defensively, “I’m just saying! It was there, and then when I looked back again - poof - it was gone!”

All the others laugh and tease Joey, except for Phoebe who thought Joey’s story could be true.
