Normally, you weren’t a big fan of weddings. The feeling of being elbow to elbow with strangers because of some dumb preassigned seating chart while the couple getting married cry and practically stick their tongue down each other’s throats was borderline uncomfortable. However… it didn’t seem as bad when it was your wedding. Plus, you and your spouse were doing something different anyway, so it shouldn’t be too bad.

Your family were hustling around the room to help you get ready. Stephanie kept holding up different shoes and asking if they looked like your size since the order for your shoes never went through, Bruce attempted to keep a stoic face yet had to keep looking up at the ceiling so tears wouldn’t drip down his cheeks, Alfred stood by politely and offered the occasional tissue to Bruce when he allowed himself to accept them. You couldn’t see the rest of your family since you were getting your hair done, but you could assume they were making sure everything was in its place. Except for Jason and Damian, they were probably off talking shit about your spouse for fun, not out of actual hate.

“I cannot believe we completely forgot about shoes. How do you have a wedding without shoes!” Stephanie muttered as she paced, stuffing tissue in some shoes so they’d fit.

“We did not forget, Miss Stephanie. I would never allow that. They seemed to have simply disregarded the order. Perhaps I should have went in person..” Alfred responded, placing a comforting hand on Bruce’s shoulder.

“Bad customer service. Bad review.” Cassandra chimed in calmly, sitting in a chair off to the side with her arms crossed.
